The National Bank of the Republic of Tajikistan convened a working meeting with representatives of credit financial institutions and insurance organisations to discuss the development of a centralized website that would allow consumers to compare prices and offers for financial services. The initiative was framed as part of Tajikistan’s National Financial Inclusion Strategy for 2022–2026, adopted by government decision No. 314 of 1 July 2022, which includes consumer protection as a key pillar. Under item 55 of the strategy’s implementation action plan, the central bank has prepared a draft technical specification for building the website, which is intended to improve access to reliable information for consumers and support competition and service quality across credit and insurance providers. Meeting participants exchanged views and provided proposals on ensuring the platform’s orderly operation, and the deputy chairman called on institutions to cooperate with the central bank on developing and implementing the website.
