The Isle of Man Financial Services Authority will hold its 2026 Countering Financial Crime Conference in Douglas on Aug. 12, bringing together more than 500 professionals to examine current and emerging threats to financial systems. Sessions will focus on disrupting the laundering of proceeds from cyber-enabled fraud, sanctions evasion, and drug and human trafficking. The conference will also cover the Isle of Man’s National Risk Assessment and preparations for the MONEYVAL mutual evaluation, with participants including the U.S. Treasury, the U.K. National Crime Agency, HM Revenue and Customs, and Transparency International.
