The National Bank of Moldova reported that its First Deputy Governor, Petru Rotaru, participated in the international conference on Queen Marie’s historical and cultural legacy, where he highlighted the Bank’s commemorative coin dedicated to Queen Marie. The coin has been introduced into numismatic circulation since 1 December 2025 and completes the “Personalities” series. Struck in silver, it has a nominal value of 100 Moldovan lei and a mintage of 750 units, with the design credited to R.A. Monetaria Statului, Romania; a prototype was exhibited at the National Museum of History of Moldova as part of the “ROYAL” exhibition.
