The Italian Institute for Insurance Supervision (IVASS) has launched the procedure to constitute the first panel of the Insurance Arbitrator, inviting eligible candidates to submit an expression of interest to serve as the member appointed by the Institute. Candidates must meet the professionalism, integrity and independence requirements set out in Decree No. 215 of 6 November 2024 and submit their application by 12:00 on 7 July 2025 via certified email, using the template and instructions published on the IVASS and Insurance Arbitrator websites. In parallel, representative associations of insurance undertakings, insurance intermediaries and customers have been invited to designate their respective members. Appointments to the Insurance Arbitrator panel will be made by an IVASS measure.
