The Angola Capital Markets Commission participated in Rádio Escola’s “Boa Tarde Ouvinte” programme as part of the pre-campaign for World Investor Week, an IOSCO-led global initiative focused on financial literacy, investor protection and confidence in the financial system. The Commission was represented by Kennedy Benguela from its Legal and Litigation Office and appeared alongside César Marcelino, Director of the Studies and Strategic Planning Office at the Angolan Agency for Insurance Regulation and Supervision. The broadcast presented the objectives of World Investor Week, publicised the events planned for the week, and discussed the importance of saving, financial education as a mechanism to prevent scams, and good financial planning practices, while highlighting cooperation between the two national financial regulators.
