The State Bank of Vietnam organised a thematic training course for department-level planning resource officers focused on banking inspection and supervision and institutional improvement, with Deputy Governor Pham Quang Dung providing orientation and expectations for the sector’s next generation of leaders and managers. The course forms part of the SBV’s Departmental Planning Resource Officer Training Programme, launched in October 2025 to prepare future leadership and management in line with evolving practical requirements. Training content was structured around four areas: macroprudential supervision, micro-supervision of credit institutions, banking inspection activities and institutional building, with sessions delivered by senior officials from the System Safety Department of Credit Institutions, the Department of Management and Supervision of Credit Institutions, the SBV Inspectorate and the Legal Department.
