The Securities and Exchange Board of India released its annual report for financial year 2025-26, covering its policies and programs and Indian securities market activity from April 2025 through March 2026. The statutory report was submitted to the Government of India and tabled in Parliament as required under the SEBI Act, 1992. The report reviews market trends and policy initiatives, compares India’s economic and investment environment with peer economies, and sets out priorities for 2026-27. It also covers SEBI’s work across market segments, investor protection and technology, supervision, surveillance, enforcement, litigation, regulatory changes and international engagement.
