The Rwanda Capital Markets Authority sent a delegation to the Nigerian Exchange Group in Lagos for talks on market development, regulation and cooperation. The visit focused on practical areas for collaboration, including regulatory approaches, market infrastructure and cross-border integration across African capital markets. Led by Chief Executive Officer Romeo Ngarambe, the delegation met Nigerian Exchange Limited Chief Executive Officer Jude Chiemeka and NGX Regulation Limited Chief Executive Officer Benny Shabanjo. Discussions covered integration through the African Securities Exchanges Association and the African Exchange Linkage Project, and both sides indicated they would continue building the relationship. The visit took place against the backdrop of the Nigeria-Rwanda visa-free agreement, and a reciprocal NGX visit to Kigali was welcomed.
