Ukraine's Ministry of Finance announced that the European Union and Ukraine have launched Phase III of the EU Public Finance Management Support Programme for Ukraine, a EUR 25 million phase that will run until January 2029. The programme will continue support for public finance management reforms linked to Ukraine's EU accession, covering budget planning and public internal financial control, public procurement, revenue collection, horizontal governance functions, and external audit and parliamentary oversight. The new phase will emphasize progressive alignment with the EU acquis, stronger institutional capacity, and digital and interoperable systems needed for Ukraine's future participation in the EU Single Market. According to the ministry, priorities include further digital transformation of the customs and tax administrations and improved liquidity management. The implementation partnership is also being expanded, with Expertise France and Solidarity Fund PL joining the consortium led by the Central Project Management Agency.
