The Central Bank of Russia released the programme for its Cybersecurity in Finance Forum, which will be held in Yekaterinburg on 18–20 February 2026. The first day will include a plenary session with Governor Elvira Nabiullina on strategic information security priorities for the financial sector in the coming years, including the regulator’s planned measures to combat cyberfraud. The agenda includes more than 30 thematic sessions covering banking-sector innovations to counter cyberfraud, including tools using artificial intelligence, as well as cybersecurity issues linked to the platform economy and import substitution. Other topics include preventing deepfakes and personal data leaks, training information security specialists, and addressing credit fraud.
