The Central Bank of Sri Lanka has begun preparations to launch a nationwide Financial Inclusion Survey 2026 to gather data on financial inclusion for the development of the National Financial Inclusion Strategy Phase II. The survey will cover 480 Grama Niladhari Divisions across every district and will collect insights on awareness of financial services, usage patterns, and barriers to accessing financial products. Kantar Lanka (Pvt) Ltd will conduct the survey, and the central bank has requested the public’s cooperation with survey teams.
