The Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission announced that the investment compartment HANSEATIC Shipping Fund I of Hanseatic Shipping AIF V.C.I.C. PLC has been dissolved and put into liquidation after the compartment’s period of operation lapsed, in line with Article 63(1)(b) of the Alternative Investment Funds Law of 2018. The dissolution was notified to CySEC by the AIF’s external manager, Hanseatic Capital Management Ltd, pursuant to Article 52(6) of the law. CySEC noted that the compartment is being placed into voluntary liquidation and referenced the AIF’s licence number AIF27/2014.
