Dominican Republic's Pensions Superintendency (SIPEN) has started a staff training programme at the Dominican Telecommunications Institute (Indotel), with more than 50 employees completing a first phase focused on pension savings and social security. The session forms part of the certification pathway for the “Aquí Sabemos de Pensiones” seal, which recognises institutions and companies that promote pension education among their workforce. The training covered members’ rights and obligations, requirements for accessing benefits under the Dominican Pension System, and available digital tools to manage individual capitalisation accounts (cuentas de capitalización individual, CCI). SIPEN indicated it will continue running these training sessions across other public and private institutions.
