The Reserve Bank of India assigned State Bank of India lead bank responsibility for the five newly created districts of Sham, Nubra, Changthang, Zanskar and Drass in the Union Territory of Ladakh. The districts received working codes 02Z, 03B, 03A, 03C and 03D, respectively. Lead bank assignments for Ladakh’s other districts remain unchanged.
