The Montenegro Capital Market Authority reported that its president, Željko Drinčić, attended the 28th scientific and professional conference “Financial Market”, held in Opatija on 22–23 May 2025, as a regional forum on macroeconomic, financial and regulatory developments. Organised by the Croatian Banking Association in partnership with the Croatian National Bank and the Croatian Financial Services Supervisory Agency, the programme covered easing inflation pressures alongside ongoing geopolitical and economic uncertainty, including discussion of European Central Bank monetary policy, fiscal sustainability, the financial sector’s role in economic resilience, digitalisation of financial services and financing sustainable projects in the green transition. During the visit, Drinčić held meetings with Croatian capital markets and banking sector representatives focused on strengthening inter-institutional cooperation and exchanging regulatory and market practices. The Authority indicated it intends to continue supporting and participating in similar initiatives aimed at regional cooperation and monitoring trends in capital market regulation and development.
