Bettina Roth, chief executive officer of the Isle of Man Financial Services Authority, is participating in a panel at the UN Environment Programme Global Sustainable Insurance Summit in Dublin on integrating nature into insurance risk management, underwriting and supervision. The summit is examining the growing insurability challenge, financial stability and transition planning ahead of COP17 Armenia and COP31 Türkiye. The discussion aligns with the Authority’s targeted work under the Isle of Man’s public-private Sustainable Finance Initiative. Its risk-based and proportionate approach seeks to support sustainable finance while incorporating climate and nature-related matters into firms’ existing governance and risk management processes, building on guidance issued in 2025 on managing financial risks from climate change and nature loss.
