The Global Legal Entity Identifier Foundation (GLEIF) announced the winners of its global verifiable Legal Entity Identifier (vLEI) Hackathon, selecting MSC Trustgate as the overall winner from 110 submissions focused on digital organizational identity. MSC Trustgate’s winning solution embeds vLEI credentials into a secure document-signing portal to verify both identity and organizational authority, and binds these checks to AATL-recognized digital signatures. GLEIF said this approach removes redundant know-your-customer and know-your-business steps, reduces fraud exposure, and produces PDF documents that standard readers can validate without additional plug-ins. YourData was named runner-up for Agent-Anchor, a tool that assigns vLEI identities to corporate artificial intelligence agents, authenticates agents during live interactions to mitigate impersonation and spoofing risks, and supports integration with digital identity wallets such as the eIDAS 2.0 EUDI Wallet.
