The Agency for Regulation and Development of the Financial Market of the Republic of Kazakhstan approved a series of senior management appointments in the insurance sector, covering executive body members, chief accountants and an independent director. The approvals relate to A.M. Madieva (member of the executive body), G.A. Shaukhymberdieva (member of the executive body), V.S. Koksharov (chief accountant), B.A. Kozhrakov (member of the management body as an independent director) and S.B. Shametova (chief accountant), with decisions taken between 9 and 28 October 2025. The Agency noted that, where qualification requirements under Kazakhstan’s Law on Insurance Activity are met, a senior manager who already holds the regulator’s consent for a leadership role may be transferred within the same sector to a similar position without obtaining additional consent.
