Norges Bank will make net foreign currency purchases equivalent to NOK 176 million per day in September 2026 through transactions conducted on behalf of the state and to fund dividend and interest transfers to the state. The net amount comprises daily foreign currency purchases of NOK 300 million on behalf of the state, including transactions linked to petroleum revenue savings in the Government Pension Fund Global, and daily foreign currency sales of NOK 124 million to finance the transfers. The dividend and interest transfers total NOK 29.4 billion, with the related krone purchases spread across eligible trading days from March 2026 through February 2027.
