The National Bank of Georgia reported that Vice President Nino Jeladze took part in a panel discussion in London during Central Banking’s annual meetings. In that forum, participants discussed how geopolitical developments are affecting central bank operations, monetary policy implementation and the management of international reserves, with particular attention to reserve diversification strategies, trends in stablecoins and central bank digital currencies, and the opportunities and challenges of using artificial intelligence. During the London visit, Jeladze also held working meetings with representatives of various European central banks. Those discussions focused on expanding professional cooperation between central banks, current challenges in banking supervision and regulation, and the practical use of modern technologies, including artificial intelligence.
