The Argentina Securities Commission (CNV) announced that the first three open-ended mutual funds (FCI Abiertos) have been filed and registered under its new automatic authorisation framework, on the first day of the regime’s implementation. The registrations followed submissions that met the requirements set out in General Resolution No. 1082 and the dedicated implementation guidance. CNV president Roberto E. Silva indicated that, under the “Automatic Public Offering” regime, CNV will review and approve only the first fund in a given family, while subsequent funds from the same family will be authorised automatically provided they do not contain substantial changes.
