The Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) held its 2025 Outstanding BSP Stakeholders Appreciation Ceremony for the Visayas Regional Office in Iloilo City, recognising 10 institutional partners for contributions that support the BSP’s mandates and key advocacies. The awardees were recognised for work linked to financial inclusion, financial education, currency management, digital payments, and gold buying. The outstanding institutional partners were Card Bank, Inc., Roxas Branch; Land Bank of the Philippines, Dumaguete Branch; Land Bank of the Philippines, Tacloban Branch; Cash Operations Unit, Land Bank of the Philippines, Iloilo; Metropolitan Bank & Trust Company, Cebu Fuente Osmeña Center; Metropolitan Bank & Trust Company, Roxas Branch; Local Government of Talisay City, Negros Occidental; Cebu Bankers Club; Tacloban Bankers Association, Inc.; and Perpetual Help Community Cooperative. The Visayas ceremony followed similar appreciation ceremonies for BSP partners from its Head Office and South Luzon, Mindanao, and North Luzon offices held on 18 July, 8 August, 8 September, and 7 October 2025. The recognition programme has run since 2004 as a platform to honour partners supporting price stability, financial stability, and a safe and efficient payments and settlements system.
