The Angola Capital Markets Commission took part in Rádio Eclésia’s “Radar” programme as part of the pre-campaign for World Investor Week, focusing on the role of financial education in preventing scams and fraud and previewing the main events planned for the week. The discussion featured the Commission’s Samuel Yengue and Raísa Cardoso of OHUASI INVESTMENT - SGOIC. It outlined World Investor Week as a global initiative promoted by the International Organization of Securities Commissions aimed at strengthening financial literacy, confidence in the financial system and investor protection, and shared practical guidance on financial planning, household budgeting and balanced resource management. The speakers also emphasised the role of regulated financial intermediaries as a safer entry point to capital markets and highlighted key available investment instruments.
