Abu Dhabi Global Market’s Financial Services Regulatory Authority (FSRA) issued an alert about misleading regulatory claims by Mount Nico Corp Ltd, trading as “MKT Investing”, after the firm’s website suggested it is regulated by the FSRA. The FSRA clarified that it does not regulate MKT Investing and that the firm is not, and has never been, licensed by the FSRA to carry out any Regulated Activities in ADGM. It reminded market participants that only FSRA-authorised firms can undertake Regulated Activities in ADGM and advised investors not to deal with any firm until its authenticity and relevant Financial Services Permission have been verified via the FSRA’s Public Register, and to check the ADGM Registration Authority’s Public Register where a website or firm purports to be incorporated or registered in ADGM.
