The Czech National Bank announced changes to the management of its Monetary Department following the resignation of Executive Director Petr Král from his managerial post. Král will leave the Czech National Bank at the end of January. The resignation took effect on 6 January 2025 and was acknowledged by the Bank Board. Deputy Executive Director Jakub Mateju will head the Monetary Department until a new executive director is appointed.
