The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) published an update on inflows and disbursements through its special fundraising account opened on 24 February 2022 to support Ukraine’s defense forces, reporting that almost UAH 2.7 billion was transferred for defense needs in March 2025. The account balance stood at over UAH 2.1 billion as of 1 April 2025, after receiving over UAH 862 million during March. Total receipts into the special account since Russia launched the full-scale war exceeded UAH 66 billion, including the equivalent of over UAH 45.1 billion remitted from abroad in foreign currencies. Total allocations since the start of the full-scale war exceeded UAH 64 billion, including over UAH 32,913 million for the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine (UAH 441.7 million transferred on 18 March 2025), over UAH 15,861 million for the Defence Procurement Agency (UAH 1,038 million on 12 March 2025 and UAH 839 million on 27 March 2025), and over UAH 8,305 million for the State Service of Special Communication and Information Protection of Ukraine (UAH 218.4 million on 11 March 2025, UAH 71.3 million on 20 March 2025, UAH 16.2 million on 24 March 2025, and UAH 54.7 million on 27 March 2025), alongside disbursements to other security and defense bodies.

Since the war began, total receipts have surpassed UAH 66 billion, with over UAH 45.1 billion from foreign remittances. Total allocations have exceeded UAH 64 billion, including significant disbursements to the Ministry of Defense, the Defence Procurement Agency, and the State Service of Special Communication and Information Protection of Ukraine.
