The Angola Capital Markets Commission (CMC) held a workshop in Luanda on “Fundamentals of the Capital Markets” aimed at staff of the National Institute for the Promotion of the Information Society (INFOSI), as part of its financial education and capital markets promotion activities. Delivered by Samuel Yengue from the CMC’s Studies, Strategy, Development and Communication Department, the session focused on how capital markets function and their role in mobilising savings and financing the economy. It covered the organisation of the financial system, key market participants and instruments, and topics related to saving, investing and risk management, and included a Q&A and discussion segment with participants.
