The Australian Prudential Regulation Authority has published industry level statistics on general insurance business placed by intermediaries with APRA authorized general insurers, Lloyd’s underwriters and unauthorized foreign insurers through June 2026. The data on business placed with unauthorized foreign insurers are segmented by region, exemption type, atypical risk class and customized reason. APRA also updated its statistical database covering December 2010 to June 2026, with the next edition scheduled for March 2027.
