Mexico's National Banking and Securities Commission has published the Annual Financial Inclusion Panorama 2025, a statistical overview of financial inclusion in Mexico using data through end-2024. The publication draws on information provided to the CNBV and other authorities including the Bank of Mexico, the National Commission of the Retirement Savings System, the National Commission for the Protection and Defense of Users of Financial Services, the National Insurance and Bonding Commission, and the Institute for the Protection of Bank Savings. Structured in 14 chapters, it provides historical series and breakdowns by region, sector and financial institution across topics including financial infrastructure, deposit products, credit, retirement saving, insurance, transactions, consumer protection actions, and a gender-focused analysis, alongside international comparisons and results from the 2024 National Survey of Financial Inclusion. For the first time, it also includes information on business credit granted by development banks and regional ENIF 2024 results.
