Bank of Indonesia published the results of its December 2024 Consumer Survey, showing that consumer confidence improved from the prior month. The Consumer Confidence Index rose to 127.7 from 125.9. The increase was driven by gains in both current conditions and expectations. The Current Economic Condition Index climbed to 116.0 from 113.5, while the Consumer Expectation Index increased to 139.5 from 138.3, with broad-based improvements across components.
