The Portuguese Insurance Regulator (ASF) has launched the seventh edition of Portugal FinLab, a joint initiative with the Portuguese Securities Market Commission and the Bank of Portugal, and opened the application window for new projects. Applications are open until 13 February. Candidates selected for the pitch day will be notified by 2 March and will present their projects to the regulators on 17 and 18 March 2026. Up to five projects will be selected for analysis and announced on 13 April, after which participants will receive an assessment report and may meet with the regulators to discuss findings and clarify questions.

Up to five projects will be selected for analysis, with results announced on 13 April 2026.
