The Astana Financial Services Authority issued a public alert over suspected organized fraud by individuals falsely claiming to represent Venera Capital Ltd., an Astana International Financial Centre-registered and AFSA-licensed firm. The reported scheme used purported online trading platforms and the domains vcptlentry.com and quote.vcptlentry.com to solicit investor funds, while allegedly obstructing withdrawals after deposits were made. The suspected impersonators used forged company documents, the chief executive officer’s signature, a fake corporate seal and a fraudulent “Verified by AFSA” stamp. They also requested payments in USDT or through peer-to-peer transfers and, in some cases, presented payments as charitable donations. AFSA advised investors to treat unsolicited offers involving digital assets or guaranteed returns with extreme caution, confirmed that Venera Capital’s official website is www.venera.capital and urged the public to verify firms through its Public Register.
