The Central Bank of Poland published monetary and credit statistics showing that the M3 money supply rose by PLN 22.8bn in May 2025 to PLN 2,569.9bn, with the increase mainly driven by higher deposits and other claims of non-financial corporations. Within M3, deposits and other claims increased by PLN 10.2bn (2.0%) in the non-financial corporate sector to PLN 516.1bn, by PLN 3.2bn (2.8%) in the local government sector to PLN 114.7bn, and by PLN 2.8bn (0.2%) in the household sector to PLN 1,375.2bn. Credit aggregates showed household debt rising by PLN 3.2bn (0.4%) to PLN 808.9bn and non-financial corporate debt by PLN 2.6bn (0.6%) to PLN 433.0bn, while debt of other financial institutions fell by PLN 0.9bn (0.4%) to PLN 225.2bn; net debt of central government entities increased by PLN 5.9bn (1.2%) to PLN 492.2bn.
