The Bank of Greece announced that Claudia Buch, Chair of the Supervisory Board of the Single Supervisory Mechanism at the European Central Bank, and Dominique Laboureix, Chair of the Single Resolution Board, are visiting the central bank for meetings centred on the situation and prospects of Greek banks and on banking supervision and cooperation between the European authorities and the Bank of Greece. The programme includes a meeting with Governor Yannis Stournaras, Deputy Governor and ECB Supervisory Board member Christina Papaconstantinou and other senior officials, followed by discussions with staff from the directorates responsible for banking supervision. The visit also includes meetings with the senior management of Greek banks and the Hellenic Bank Association, and concludes with a meeting with the leadership of the Ministry of Economy and Finance, attended by Papaconstantinou.
