The Central Bank of the Republic of Kosovo published its June 2025 statistics for non-bank financial institutions, showing increases in total assets for other financial intermediaries and insurance companies and outlining the balance sheet composition of the pension fund sector. Other financial intermediaries reported assets of EUR 671.28 million at end-June 2025, up EUR 11.75 million (1.78%) from the prior month, with loans accounting for 74.44% of assets. Gross loans stood at EUR 499.70 million, up EUR 7.89 million, and lending to households represented 58.78% of total loans, while new loans issued during the month totalled EUR 39.57 million. Insurance companies’ assets reached EUR 347.16 million, up EUR 3.31 million, with balances with commercial banks at 48.39%, securities and other assets at 25.85%, and reinsurance with participation at 14.01%. Pension fund assets were EUR 3.38 billion, with equities and equity securities comprising 80.26% of total assets.
