The Hong Kong Monetary Authority, with the ASEAN+3 Macroeconomic Research Office, Asian Development Bank Institute and SEACEN Centre, hosted the fourth Financial Leadership Training Program in Hong Kong from Aug. 25-28. Continuing the regional capacity-building initiative held over the previous three years, the program focused on strengthening senior public-sector officials’ ability to safeguard macroeconomic and financial stability. More than 35 representatives from central banks, finance ministries, government agencies and international organizations across ASEAN+3 and SEACEN member economies participated. Discussions with industry, regulatory and academic experts covered artificial intelligence, transition finance and financial digitalization, alongside leadership development and regional knowledge sharing.
