The Ukraine National Commission on Securities and Stock Market, with technical support from the International Finance Corporation, has developed and approved a Sustainable Finance Roadmap for 2025-2030 setting out its approach to embedding sustainable finance in the practices of capital market participants. The roadmap links the agenda to boosting Ukraine’s investment attractiveness, supporting fundraising for reconstruction after the end of the war, and implementing European legislation. The Commission positions sustainable finance as a channel to mobilise private capital domestically and internationally, and sets priorities including ongoing information support and training, streamlined regulatory procedures for issuers seeking to issue “sustainable” instruments, and development of tools to measure environmental, social and governance progress. The roadmap also anticipates involvement of international organisations and communities to help expand funding.
