The Dominican Republic's Pensions Superintendency, AFP Popular and Pedro Henríquez Ureña National University have opened the fifth cohort of the RITA pension education program. The new cohort will train 80 professionals in simultaneous groups in Santo Domingo and Santiago, extending an initiative that has trained 150 pension sector professionals and recently began certifying its first graduates. The program covers regulation, investment, workers and savings to give pension fund administrator employees an integrated understanding of the Dominican Pension System. It is intended to strengthen their ability to explain the system, guide members and connect technical knowledge with responsibilities toward pension savers.
