The Central Bank of Paraguay has launched the Regional Training Program for South America and Mexico, a joint initiative with the International Monetary Fund aimed at strengthening technical capacity across the region. The program was formally launched at the Central Bank of Paraguay Institute, which now serves as the regional base for the IMF training program. The initiative is designed to support stronger policy design, implementation and evaluation through regionally focused technical training. Its courses will bring together participants from central banks, ministries of finance, financial supervisory agencies and national statistics offices in South American countries and Mexico. Participants will be selected through institutional nomination processes or direct applications, with a focus on professionals responsible for key policy areas.
