The Agency for Regulation and Development of the Financial Market of the Republic of Kazakhstan published approvals for six senior officers in the insurance market, covering appointments to executive body member, chief accountant and other senior management roles. The approved individuals are A.T. Kabulov as a member of the executive body, I.V. Grents as chief accountant, S.B. Kanatova as chief accountant, G.M. Iskhakova as a member of the executive body and other senior officer, Z.V. Valikhanova as a member of the executive body and other senior officer, and D.M. Kemelzhanov as chief accountant and other senior officer. The agency also noted that, under Kazakhstan’s Law on Insurance Activity, a senior officer who already has regulatory consent for a managerial position may be transferred to a similar role within the same sector without additional approval if the statutory qualification requirements are met. Current consents are available through the Insurance Sector section of the register of permits and notifications.
