The Chile Financial Market Commission (CMF) announced the start of its 2025 Financial Education Month, setting out an October programme aimed at strengthening the public’s financial learning and financial well-being. The CMF linked this year’s initiative to 100 years of banking regulation and supervision in Chile. The formal opening is scheduled for 2 October at La Fábrica in Renca as a joint event with the Central Bank of Chile, the Superintendence of Pensions, the General Treasury of the Republic and the National Consumer Service, and will include financial education workshops with female entrepreneurs. The programme is structured around four weekly themes, covering savings and investments, fraud and cybersecurity, financial inclusion and financial well-being, with activities including daily tips on CMF social media, interactive quizzes on CMF Educa, talks tailored to women, young people and older adults, and a public webinar with practical guidance on improving financial well-being. Final dates and registration links for the activities will be published in the coming days.
