The Angola Capital Markets Commission held a session at Óscar Ribas University to present the General Statistics of the Capital Markets, as part of its activities to promote and publicise Angola’s capital markets. Aimed at university students and faculty, the event sought to explain how statistical data supports the analysis and interpretation of economic and financial information. The session attracted more than 100 participants and included an overview of key market trends and indicators, followed by a panel discussion on the role of financial statistics in research and decision-making; it forms part of the Commission’s academic lecture series running since April 2025, which has also covered the Catholic University of Angola, Lusíada University of Angola and the Higher Polytechnic Institute of Technologies and Sciences (ISPTEC).
