The Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan opened a two-day Securitization Roundtable in Tashkent, bringing together leading Uzbek banks and international financial institutions to discuss practical steps to unlock new funding channels for Uzbekistan’s financial sector, including eurobond issuance and securitization. The programme covers the banking and financial sector outlook, eurobond and securitization case studies from Uzbek banks, international best practices from Europe and global debt capital markets participants, structured one-to-one meetings aimed at supporting partnerships and transactions, and technical sessions on regulation, foreign exchange, enforceability and term-sheet mechanics. Participants named include SQB, Aloqabank, Asia Alliance Bank, Turonbank, InfinBank, MyBank and Paylater, alongside EBRD, EIB, the World Bank, PwC, Euroclear, Citi, Franklin Templeton, LBBW and BlueOrchard.
