The Bank of Albania published a press release on an official meeting between Governor Gent Sejko and a delegation from the Kosova Academy of Sciences and Arts, accompanied by the President of the Academy of Sciences of Albania, focused on strengthening inter-institutional and inter-academic cooperation and expanding collaboration in areas of mutual interest. Governor Sejko highlighted the role of academia in the Bank’s financial education and research agenda, including contributions to the scientific platform and exhibition of the Museum of the Bank of Albania. Discussions also covered closer Albania–Kosovo economic and financial integration, including harmonising the regulatory framework and increasing institutional cooperation, with potential collaboration spanning monetary policy, banking supervision, financial stability, payment systems and economic research. The parties explored joint scientific activities, conferences, research publications and expertise exchanges, and committed to deepening cooperation.
