The Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan has signed memorandums of understanding, in collaboration with the Board of Investment (BOI), with NEPRA, PRA, DRAP, SNGPL, PEMRA and IESCO to enable electronic data sharing through its eZfile portal under the Pakistan Regulatory Modernization Initiative (PRMI). The integration allows these organizations to digitally access company information held by SECP. SECP said it had previously signed PRMI MoUs with PSEB, STZA, PEC, PSW, BOI, PTA, KP-BOIT, KPRA and BRA. The data-sharing arrangements are intended to reduce repetitive manual submissions and paperwork for corporate entities and speed up access to services, supporting SECP’s “From Paper to Platform — 100% Online” approach and the government’s digital and investor-focused ease-of-doing-business agenda.
