The State Audit Office published its report on the 2023 compliance audit of the Croatian National Bank (CNB), issuing an unqualified opinion on the CNB’s compliance. The opinion concludes that the CNB’s 2023 operations complied in all material respects with applicable laws, regulations and internal bylaws. The audit assessed compliance of activities, financial transactions and information related to operating expenses, focusing on administrative operations and procurement, and the management and use of real property, movable property and equipment. It also covered the CNB’s competence and organisation, planning, accounting and financial reporting, public procurement, staff costs, material and administrative expenses and services, and investments in fixed assets.
