The Central Bank of Bahrain cut its overnight deposit rate by 25 basis points to 4.75% from 5.00%, effective 18 September 2025, saying the move is part of measures to maintain monetary and financial stability in the Kingdom of Bahrain in light of global financial market developments; the cut follows decisions to hold the overnight deposit rate at 5.00% in June and July 2025.
