The National Bank of Georgia, through its financial education platform Finedu and in partnership with Tamashobana, has launched “Forward, Forward – Finansobana”, billed as Georgia’s first interactive children’s theatrical performance on financial literacy, supported by Liberty Bank, Bank of Georgia, TBC Bank and Basisbank. The play is designed for primary school students and introduces concepts including saving, entrepreneurship, financial goal-setting and financial safety. Performances run across Batumi, Ozurgeti, Kutaisi, Gori, Telavi and Borjomi through 30 November, with audiences drawn from schools whose teachers participated in Finedu programmes during 2025; more than 400 students attended in the first few days, and around 700 children aged 8 to 12 are expected over the tour. Students and teachers attending the performances also receive themed educational materials, alongside Finedu’s wider set of resources developed with Tamashobana such as comics, board games and other teaching tools.
