The Central Bank of Morocco has signed a framework cooperation agreement with Archives of Morocco setting out the central bank’s archives management programme and the coordination arrangements between the two bodies under Morocco’s legal and regulatory provisions on archives. The move builds on the archives management system Bank Al‑Maghrib has had in place since 2010. Under the agreement, Archives of Morocco will provide technical assistance and institutional support to help the central bank’s archives management system reach a more advanced level of maturity. The convention was signed in Rabat by Bank Al‑Maghrib Governor Abdellatif Jouahri and Archives of Morocco Director Latifa Moftaqir.
