The Vietnam State Securities Commission, through its Securities Research and Training Center branch in Ho Chi Minh City, has opened registration for a corporate governance certificate training course scheduled for April 2025, aimed at managers of public companies in southern provinces and cities. The programme is positioned to support compliance with mandatory corporate governance requirements under Decree 155/2020/ND-CP and to help boards meet their responsibility to organise corporate governance training for directors, chief executives and other managers. The two-day course will run on 17 and 18 April 2025 at the branch auditorium at 264B Le Van Sy, Ward 14, District 3, Ho Chi Minh City. Day 1 covers general corporate governance knowledge and international standards and practices, while Day 2 focuses on Vietnam’s current legal framework and discussion of practical corporate governance issues. The faculty includes experienced corporate governance lecturers, including officials involved in developing relevant legal and guidance documents and senior representatives from the State Securities Commission, the stock exchange and Vietnam Securities Depository and Clearing Corporation. The target audience includes board members, executive management, supervisory board members, company secretaries, corporate governance officers and information disclosure officers, with tuition set at VND 3,500,000 per participant including materials. Registration is completed by transferring the fee to the Ho Chi Minh City branch account of the Securities Research and Training Center and including the participant’s details and course code in the payment reference.
